Unifying Social Proof Across Independent Websites
When members write reviews, post updates, or publish content on independent partner websites, that engagement often remains hidden on isolated domains. The DostBiz Hub Activity Receiver solves this by turning dostbiz.com into a central social stream for your entire business ecosystem.
By securely accepting incoming activity streams from connected client plugins and publishing them directly to BuddyPress, every action taken across the network gains instant visibility on the main platform.
How DostBiz Hub Receiver Powers Community Growth
1. Cross-Platform Activity Synchronization
Whenever a registered user takes action on a connected client site, the DostBiz Hub Receiver accepts the payload via a secure REST API route (POST /wp-json/dostbiz/v1/sync-activity). It verifies the account email, formats the update with backlinks, and publishes the activity directly to the member’s central profile feed on dostbiz.com.
2. Master Secret Key Authentication
To ensure that only verified partner websites can transmit activity posts, the plugin authenticates incoming sync requests against a configurable Master Secret Key (dostbiz_hub_secret_key). Unauthorized attempts receive an immediate HTTP 403 Forbidden response.
3. Automatic Referral Backlinks
Each synced activity entry includes clickable backlinks pointing directly to the original client site and specific content link. This generates continuous organic referral traffic back to partner businesses while keeping the community feed on dostbiz.com fresh and active.
4. Smart Directory Recommendation Engine
The plugin features a built-in recommendation endpoint (GET /wp-json/dostbiz/v1/recommendations) that feeds live business updates to embedded widgets on partner sites. External sites can display top community member profiles, avatars, and latest updates that direct visitors straight to member profiles (/business-info/) on dostbiz.com.
